Get the Safer Badgers App

This is the official COVID-19 app for the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The app provides resources to support health and safety on campus and in the community.

  • Download Safer Badgers app on Google Play

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS for replacing the APK Android app with the Play Store version. Failure to do this will cause you to lose your health history in the app.

If you cannot or do not want to load the Safer Badgers app to your phone, DoIT has an iPhone lending program.

Make sure your Badger Badge is in "Building Access Granted" status by having a negative test on file and meeting other public health critera.

Access campus buildings

The Badger Badge program is soft launching on January 25 to help campus adjust to the new process. Although Badger Wellness Ambassadors will be checking badges, the requirement for a green badge to enter will begin Feb. 1.
